Industrial valves for mining, slurry and mineral processing
Abrasive slurry, entrained solids and frequent cycling create a different wear mechanism from clean-water service. A useful specification identifies solids concentration and size, hardness, velocity, settling behaviour, chemistry, flushing provisions and the acceptable maintenance interval.

Solids abrade seats, gates or discs and high-velocity transition zones.
Settling can pack body cavities, obstruct closure and increase required operating torque.
Remote sites increase the value of field-replaceable wear parts, predictable maintenance and stocked spares.
